"just forget"

a prediliction for affliction
can be justified
by a want for addiction
just typified

so cross fingers twice-crossed
throw off the cloak
of lifelong lust lost
and weakness revoke

shut off the engines tonight
cut candletips burning
and kill all the lights
just sit in darkness yearning

there's nothing left worth thinking
so get rid of thought
there's nothing left worth learning
so forget all that's been taught
